Wingate by Wyndham Macon

A nicely renovated hotel with spacious, nice rooms that include a large sofa and big mounted smart tv. The staff members I interacted with were nice at check-in, check out, and when I called the front desk to inquire about a late check-out request which they approved - I loved having that option sent to me the morning of check out via link to my phone. The hotel is clean and modern. This was my second stay here and my boyfriend's first stay and he kept saying how good of a hotel I picked. He especially loved the window curtain that has "Macon" with a design of the city on it because he is from Macon so that made him smile.

I was very shocked when I walked in the room. It exceeded my expectations. The decor was wonderful and the room was super clean. I ended up staying 3 more nights at the hotel. The plan was to stay there one night and find something better but this hotel was amazing. the front desk ladies were beyond pleasant and helpful.

*Very clean *Beds comfortable *Pool and workout facilities seemed pretty nice but did not use, only glanced at *Room a nice size and comfortable - had a variety of seating, nice size fridge, nice size and well outfitted bathroom *Staff friendly and helpful *Breakfast is included and had several options- biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastries, grits, cold cereal - lots of grains not a lot of protein

The room was really clean

The Manager named Lisa is totally awesome, we were there for a funeral and she was so accommodating, asking if we needed anything, acknowledging us, greeting our coming and going each day with a big smile. Making sure the breakfast was fresh, hot and keeping everything so clean. She seems to work so hard and to go out of her way to make everyone's stay pleasant.
